Cyril Cusack 1910-1993 Born in Durban, Natal, South Africa. He was one of the most famous of Irish actors, performing with the Abbey, the Gate, the Royal Shakespeare Company and the English National Theatre. He appeared in many films including Shake Hands with the Devil, Fahrenheit 451, The Day of the Jackal and My Left Foot. He also wrote three volumes of poetry – Timepieces, Poems and Between the Acts. He is buried in Dublin.
