Michael Comyn c. 1688-1760 Born in Kilcorcoran, County Clare. He was a Gaelic poet and scholar. Unfortunately most of his manuscripts were burnt after his death and very little of his work survives. This includes Laoi Oisín Ar Thír na nÓg and Eachtra Thoirdhealbhaigh Mhic Stairn. He is buried in County Clare. Photo by Donal De Barra
