Mickey Devine 1954-1981

Born in Derry. He was a founder member of the INLA. He was arrested in 1976 after an arms raid. In 1977 he was sentenced to 12 years imprisonment. He immediately went on the blanket protest and was the seventh man to go on hunger strike. He died on August 20th 1981. He is buried in Derry along with his friend and fellow hunger striker, Patsy O'Hara.
