Lord Dunsany (Edward John Plunkett) 1878-1957 Born in London. He wrote novels, short stories, poems, plays and an autobiography. He was associated with the Irish Revival. His works include The King of Elfland’s Daughter, The Curse of the Wise Woman, Patches of Sunlight, A Dreamer’s Tales, Five Plays, Time and the Gods, Tales of Wonder and the series on Mister Joseph Jorkens. He is buried in Kent.
