Sinéad De Valera 1878-1975

Born in Balbriggan, County Dublin. She was a teacher who taught Irish to Éamon and later married him. She translated fairy stories for children from Irish into English and wrote over a dozen plays as well as poems for children. Her works include Fairy Tales of Ireland and More Irish Fairy Tales. She is buried in Dublin.

Also buried in the same grave is Ruaidhri de Valera who was Professor of Archaeology in UCD. His most important drevalera r.jpg (58771 bytes)work, with Sean O Nuallain,  was the four volume Survey of  the Megalithic Tombs of Ireland
