Padraic Fallon 1905-1974 Born in Athenry, County Galway. He worked in Customs and Excise and although he wrote much and contributed to various journals, his work was not collected and published as Collected Poems until after his death. He wrote 17 plays for radio and a couple of stage plays. These include Diarmuid and Gráinne, The Vision of Mac Conglinne, The Seventh Step and Sweet Love Till Morn. He died in Kent and is buried in County Cork.
