Sir Thomas Farrell, RHA 1827-1900 Born in Dublin. He was a sculptor and President of the Royal Hibernian Academy. His work includes the bas-relief on the Wellington Memorial in the Phoenix Park, statues of William Smyth O’Brien and John Gray in O’Connell St, the bust of Sir John Gray, the Cardinal McCabe memorial and the Barry Sullivan statue in Glasnevin cemetery. He is buried in Dublin.
