Annie French Hector 1825-1902 Born in Dublin. She was a novelist who wrote under the pen name of Mrs. Alexander. Beginning in 1875, when her husband, the explorer Alexander Hector died, she wrote over 40 books including her most famous - The Wooing of O’t, The Cost of Her Love and the semi-autobiographical Kitty Costello. She is buried in London.
