James MacNeill 1869-1938 Born in Glenarm, County Antrim. He was an administrator who joined the Indian civil service and after retiring in 1914 came back to Ireland. In 1923 he was appointed High Commissioner for the Irish Free State and in 1928 he was appointed Governor General. He is buried in Kilbarrack. |
