John MacBride
1865-1916 Born in Westport, County Mayo. He fought with the Irish Brigade against the British in the Boer War. He married Maud Gonne in Paris. He was a water bailiff with Dublin Corporation and he fought in Jacobs Factory. He is buried in Arbour Hill, Dublin along with the other leaders of the Easter Rising.
