Leonard McNally 1752-1820 Born in Dublin. He was admitted to the Bar in 1776. He joined the United Irishmen but acted as an informer. This did not become clear until after his death, so he was able to act as defence counsel for the United Irishmen while at the same time acting as an informer for the British. He is buried in Dublin.
