James Augustine (Jimmy) O’Dea 1899-1965 Born in Dublin. He was an actor, entertainer and comedian who featured in the Dublin pantomimes with Maureen Potter. His most famous figure was Biddy Mulligan, The Pride of the Coombe. He featured also in films, his best-known role was the King of the Fairies in Darby O’Gill and the Little People. He is buried in Dublin.
