Niall Ó Dónaill 1908-1995
Born at Loch an Iúir, County Donegal. He is remembered for his standard work Foclóir Gaeilge-Béarla published in 1977. He also wrote a biography of John Mitchel and Forbairt na Gaeilge on the standardisation of the Irish language. He is buried in Dublin.
