Eileen Ó Faoláin 1900-1988 Born in Cork. She married Seán Ó Faoláin in Boston in 1928. She wrote stories for children - The Little Black Hen and The King of the Cats. She also wrote Irish Sagas and Folktales and Children of the Salmon and other Irish Folktales. She donated her body to Trinity College Dublin for scientific research.
