Eoghan Ó Tuairisc (Eugene Watters) 1919-1982

Born in Ballinasloe, County Galway. He worked as a teacher until 1969. He wrote in both English and Irish. The sudden death of his first wife affected him badly. His subsequent marriage to Rita Kelly was the stimulus for another body of work. His works include Murder in Three Moves, L’Attaque, The Weekend of Dermot and Grace, Dé Luain, De Réir na Rúibricí, Rogha an Fhile, Aisling Mhic Artáin, An Lomnochtán, Dialann sa Díseart (a joint collection with Rita Kelly) and Infinite Variety. He is buried in County Galway.
