Seán T. O’Kelly 1882-1966 Born in Dublin. He was a founder member of Sinn Féin. He helped found the Irish Volunteers. He fought in the G.P.O. under Pearse. He was the Dáil’s representative to the Paris Peace Conference. He was against the Treaty and was imprisoned on numerous occasions during his life. He helped in the foundation of Fianna Fáil and served as a Tánaiste and Minister. He was the second President of Ireland 1945-1959. He is buried in Dublin.
