George Papworth 1781-1855 Born in England. He designed many of the monuments in Mount Jerome, including the Drummond Memorial; the Curran monument in Glasnevin; and the Kings Bridge (renamed the Sean Heuston Bridge in 1941) over the Liffey. He is buried in Dublin.
