Mervyn Wall
1908-1997

Born
in Dublin. He spent his working life in the Civil Service. He wrote short
stories, novels and plays including A Flutter of Wings, The Unfortunate
Fursey, The Return of Fursey, Leaves for the Burning, No Trophies Raise,
Alarm among the Clerks, The Lady in the Twilight and a history of the
Forty Foot bathing spot. He is buried in Dublin.
