Jack B. Yeats
1871-1957 Born in London. He was the brother of William and is recognised as one of Ireland’s finest painters, but he also illustrated books and wrote prose, plays and reminiscences. His works include Sailing, Sailing Swiftly, The Amaranthers, Harlequin Positions, La La Noo, In Sand and Ah, Well. He is buried in Mount Jerome Cemetery, Dublin.
