Zozimus (Michael
Moran) 1794-1846

Born
Michael Moran in Dublin. He was known as the Blind Bard of the Liberties.
He was renowned for his recitations and ballad writing, the best known of
which are St Patrick was a Gentleman and The Finding of Moses. He was
buried in Dublin.
