 Cardinal Joseph MacRory 1861-1945

Born in Ballygawley, County Tyrone. Ordained in 1885, he was made Archbishop of Armagh in 1928 and was made a cardinal in 1929. He is buried in the cemetery behind St Patrick’s Cathedral, Armagh.
