Harry Ferguson 1884-1960

Born at Growell, near Hillsborough, County Down. He made the first powered flight in Ireland at Hillsborough in 1909. First one to combine the tractor and the plough as a unit. He wasn’t an astute business man and deals with Ford and with Massey-Harris turned sour for him. Died from a drugs overdose.
