Rev Henry Cooke 1788-1868

Born at Grillagh, County Derry. He was a Presbyterian preacher who was involved in politics in the north of Ireland, organising anti-repeal meetings when O'Connell came to Belfast. There is a statue of him in Belfast. It is known as the Black Man. He is buried in Belfast.
